Thank You to Our Partners

We are deeply grateful to our partners, listed below, for their generous contributions of time, goods and funds – all of which allow us to fulfill our mission of fighting childhood cancer with HOPE.  Together, we address the complex issues of childhood cancer research and successfully leverage our resources to provide essential programs for children with cancer and their families.

With help from our partners, we can continue to fund existing programs, and create new ones in response to our communities needs – all with attention to both the quantity and quality of the support we provide.

Big Cheese logo.jpg

The Big Cheese’s first location was opened in 1984 and has become a landmark after 25 years on the same corner. They have a very diverse clientele from police officers to families from surrounding residential communities such as Pinecrest, South Miami, Kendall and Coral Gables.  The owners of The Big Cheese have been supporters of Sofia's Hope for several years donating pizzas and other menu items for many of our patient and family events as well as sponsoring our Reason to Run 5K and Wine & Cheese fundraisers.

In 2018, in a moment that can only be called serendipitous, SH contacted company owner Michelle Moore regarding transportation for family field trips and visits to barn. A simple request for a quote turned into several emails back and forth with Michelle donating their services and becoming SH's official transportation company!!
